If you mean fix in the sense of have it so that the cell reference cannot change when it is copied, then you do it by making the cell reference absolute. That is done by putting a dollar sign before the column reference and a dollar sign before the row reference. So in the following formula A3 has been made into an absolute reference:
=$A$3*B3
Put a dollar sign before it, to make it either a mixed or relative formula like these:
=A$3
or
=$A$3
In both cases the row number will not change when the formula is copied.
Put the cursor on the cell and type the new number in. You could put the cursor on the cell and press F2 to enable you to edit the number that is already there.
I do not understand this question. If you want a number to take up less space in a cell, then format the cell with a smaller font size.
Double click on the cell with your mouse or you use F2 on your keyboard
You can copy and past values.

In effect a cell in Excel is a box where either text, number or formula can be placed.
Yes. Excel 2003 and earlier limit is 254. Excel 2007 limit is 16,000.
It can change a total that the formula results in.
The formula, in Excel and similar spreadsheets, is "=round(number,2)".
There is a function called ROUND which you can use to round to zero decimal places. If your number was in cell A2, the formula would be:=ROUND(A2,0)
In Excel an equation can be a formula. All formulas in Excel must start with the equals sign. That is what tells Excel it is a formula.
=b1^c1
A cell is a rectangle that can hold a number, text, formula etc.
With Num Lock on, hold down the Alt key and type 0169 on the number pad.
There is no formula error button in Excel. However, there is an Error Checking button on the Formulas ribbon in the Formula Auditing section in Excel 2007.
of course
