how many gigs do I have left

More information is needed to answer this question properly. Questions such as: what kind of phone? Was the phone purchased through a carrier? Was it modified in any way? How much storage (internal) is left on the phone? Do you have several apps running in the background?
This generally depends on the make of your phone, not the operating system (Android). On most Android phones however, you can take a screenshot bu using your whole hand, place it on the left side of the screen then swipe all the way to the right. You will hear a click if it is done right and the image will save in your gallery on the phone.
