The Gap store credit card called GapCard is issued by GE Capital Retail Bank, which is also known by GECRB. Gap also issues a Gap Visa card that is also issued by GECRB.

On the Vanilla Prepaid Master Card site there is a spot at the top of the page to enter your card number and check your balance. You can also call their phone number 1.800.652.9174 and check your balance that way as well.
According to my calculations it costs nothing to obtain a Gap Card but a monthly fee on your bank account to sustain the usability of the card. This card gives you 15% off Gap products and merchandise.
Gap Card allows you to collect points every time you shop at Gap or their online store which you can then redeem for savings on your next Gap purchase.
If your car requires a rather large gap you might use a coin to check the gap. Check the thickness of coins in your country and if any of them match or are close to the gap required for your car you're in luck.
You can marry the green card holder but that does not affect your ability to work. Your right to work is completely tied to your OPT and then your H1B. If there is no gap between the end of your OPT and start of H1B then you can carry on working. If your OPT ends then you have to stop working and can not start work again until you have your H1B.
