If you mean in general, keep them from getting in- door sweeps so they can't go under door(s) when closed and if that's not enough, perhaps spraying foundation to repel or treating in some other way to create a band around it- like with granular pesticide or similar. You may also try to make area less attractive to them if you have strawberries or something in there by moving towards center of area, if flying insects there are also alternatives to control, if it's snails/slugs they are different-you need special products
