dbPoweramp is probably the program you want to use.
There's an optional paid plug in available but the free version is quite adept at changing beween formats.
My preference is Media Convert.
It is 100% free and completely web-based. Nothing to download.
I think you can have a try nidesoft video converter which could convert video and audio files between all popular formats such as convert AVI to MP4, MP3 to WAV, WMV to MPEG, MOV to AAC, etc.
