Antibiotics can be used in some severe cases.

In routine cases of diarrhea you do not want to use antibiotics because it can make the person shed bacteria chronically. In these cases it should just be left to run its course.

Salmonella in most situations is not severe and will not last long on its own, resulting in full recovery after a few days of uncomfortable symptoms such as diarrhea. When a situation is more severe, it needs to be treated by hospitalization with an IV drip to help get rid of dehydration. See a doctor.

You remove Salmonella by cooking food to an appropriate temperature which kills the bacteria

If you are talking about food contact surfaces, then you give the equipment a sanitizing treatment - which could be chemicals or heat.

Drink plenty of fluids, especially ones that contain electrolytes such as Gatorade. Also, take some kind of anti-diarrhea, stay away from other people (you could get the flu with salmonella which would be absolutely horrible), and stay informed with your doctor about your symptoms.
