Meet with a therapist or your doctor and talk about depression with them. It's important to keep in mind that curing depression requires medication and therapy. Medications alone with have a temporary effect, but therapy can and will solidify a healthy state of mind.

Eat moderately , drink fluids, work out , surround your self with supportive people, keep your thoughts positive, find a way to talk about your issues in a healthy way where you will find solutions the best to your ability and be in positive environments .

A REAL depression however you can not solve yourself. The chemicals in your body need some help to get back on track and you will need medication and counseling. If it's so bad you can not live your ordinary life seek medical help ASAP. It gets worse the longer you wait.

* Everyone gets depressed at times, but if the depression goes on for weeks or months please see your doctor. The best thing to try to get yourself out of this slump is be with friends and try to have fun. Be active in something you are interested in and believe it or not sometimes volunteering free time for a good cause lifts a depressed person's spirits (a high) and it makes you forget about your own problems. If you think your problems are bad there is always someone else that has worse problems. When people can do this then they begin to feel alive again and in most cases the depression will lift, BUT, again I stress that if your depression lasts for more than two months please see your doctor as there are medications to get you over this hump.
