To remove address book contacts in Skype for Mac: Skype -> Preferences -> General: uncheck "Show Address Book Contacts". Update by bookshop24-7.com:
In your Skype contact window, right click on a contact and choose "Open In Address Book". Once you are in the address book select the contact you want to delete from the 'Name' list and press your delete button. Update by SouthBayMan:
In Skype Version 2 for Linux, block the contact(s) you wish to delete by right-clicking on them and selecting "Block Contact" from the context menu. The blocked contact(s) should no longer be in your contact list. Open the Options menu (Ctrl+O), select Blocked People, make sure the box labeled "Add Contacts I unblock back to my Contact List" is UNCHECKED, then highlight the contact(s) you wish to delete and click on the "Unblock Selected People" button. When you go back to your contact list, the blocked-then-unblocked contact should be absent for good. (Yeah, it's stupid and convoluted, but it does seem to work.)
Use SKYPE to delete unwanted contacts. On the left panel, click "CONTACTS." Click the name of the contact to delete. On the TOP MENU, under Contacts, click "Delete Contact." Click on "Remove Contact." Done
Right click the person's username you want to delete and click "remove from contacts".

On Skype, there is a feature under the "Tools" option that allows you to set your personal preferences for how long a message is stored on your computer. If you change this, the messages will delete themselves after the time period you have selected.
Click on the contact's name, and then click the edit button. then To Delete, click details, then delete..., then click ok. I haven' t been able to figure out how to delete all contacts though.
You click the little blue arrow next to each contact and start deleting all of them. When you click the button theres an option to delete the contact so yeah :p
Press Ctr+Alt+Delete. Then click "start task manager". Then click on skype, and finally, click end task.
Go to control panel, click on add or remove programs, and click on skype, then click remove.
Either click once on the icon you want deleted and go to contacts in the menu and select "Delete contact" at the bottom of the list, or use Control/click. Hold the Control key down as you click on whatever you want to right click on.
