Religions have no relation to genotype. There are no physiological aspects, inherited or emergent, that conclusively identify any major religion. If you're asking this question from the standpoint of wishing to know how to properly treat the body post-mortem, you'll have to use your conscience, and whatever advice you deem appropriate. The fact is that you can't know someone's faith or someone's mind -- even in life -- and never in death.

Of course, if this is already determined by someone else, you can always ask that person. You can also determine her religion by the type of religious burial service she gets. (Again this requires someone else to make a determination first.)

Obviously, if religious articles such as crosses, scapulars, prayer cards, are found on the body or in pockets, etc, the job is done- though legally one might argue she could be carrying prayer cards for somebody else- as a gift . some people even have what amounts to religious ID cards and plates in cars- for example and suggest one summon a priest if there is a serious accident - in the case of Catholics. I have seen decals of this type with a Cross logo and in some cases phone numbers ( printed on the warning label- like things for the SPCA and fire rescue ( attention firemen-pets inside) not a bad simile- Soul traffic is important.

The dead have no religion, assigning a religion to a corpse is of no value. It is more important for the state to determine cause of death and next of kin. They may have some interest in the matter.

If you didn't know her well enough while she was alive to know her religion, what difference can it make after she is dead? A corpse is not required to obey religious laws.
