Depends on the suture used as they all have different absorbing times, ranging between 14 days, 28 days and 45 days. they absorb via water in your body or enzymes in your body. if it has not been absorbed properly best thing to do is to see your doctor as there are different underlining factors that need to be looked at. best thing is to solve the root problem.
