If our image is real and inverted and smaller than the object ,then it is a concave mirror; if the image is virtual and erect and larger than the object, then it is a convex mirror; if the image is of the same size as of the object,it is a plane mirror.
that is how we can distinguish or identify which of the given mirrors are what.
BUT if the angle is very small you cannot tell
Plane is flat, convex it curves outwards and concave it curves inwards.
If the mirror is curved inwards then it is concave mirror and if the mirror is curved outwards it is convex mirror
concave
Objective lenses are convex lenses.
They use convex lenses because they need to focus the light IN to the eye. Convex focuses in while concave spreads the light out. So, they use convex lenses.
Concave and convex mirrors allow greater area of view or detailed examination of smaller areas.
convex mirror is not used in solar cooker since it form image inside the polished surface
the image in the concave mirror will be real and inverted
the image formed by convex lens will converge at a point, while with a concave lens it will appear to diverge from a point.
concave is inward, convex is outward concave is inward, convex is outward
concave
the focal point of a concave mirror is positive while a convex is negative
Convex lens converges the light and a concave lens diverges the light..
The opposite of convex is concave. Concave shapes have an inward curve, while convex shapes have an outward curve.
It can be convex or concave.
Any polygon that has an angle that is > 180º is a concave polygon. A convex polygon does not. e.g. All regular polygons are convex.
convex and concave
A concave surface curves inward. Cave-in
The mold for a concave object is convex. The mold for a convex object is concave.
