How can you download custom items for your sims 2 and have it show up in the actual game I have tried to download an item but it never shown up. Answer this question with links please?

Downloading stuff on the sims 2 is very simple after you get the hang of it. 1. You click on the item you want to download and a screen will come up that says Open, Save, or Cancel. 2. Click on open and it will start a loading bar. Then a screen SHOULD pop up. 3. At this point you will need something like winzip tp unzip files, but you can also get a 40 day free trial if its your first time. 4. Left click on the first tan folder and then click extract to special folder. Then do to My Documents, EA Games, Downloads, and then hit ok! 5. Close the screen and celebrate because you have just downloaded your first CC! I am adding on to this because folks there is an easier way! Go to modthesims2.com and download their Q Express Installer and with that you can put as many files as you want in your game at the same time!!
