You cannot drain it. You will need to pump the fuel out with a manual hand pump. You can buy one at any auto parts store.
No, there is no drain plug for the fuel tank.
The 1996 Chevrolet blazer gas filter is in the fuel tank. Drain the fuel from the tank. Remove the gas filter retaining bolts. The gas filter will come out.
Sorry, But there is no drain plug in any gas tanks. Ford Chevy dodge no 1 used a drain plug.
The only way to drain the gas tank is to use up the fuel, and then drop the tank and remove the rest by hand (by pulling the fuel pump) the 1996 and newer Taurus's feature an Anti-Siphon valve that prevents the tank from being siphoned.
It Does Not Have A Gas Tank Drain Plug. You Will Have To Siphon The Gas Out. Or Drop The Tank With It In It. GOOD LUCK

No
There is no fuel tank drain plug.
1995 and before has a siphon port at the rear of the tank. 1996 and later has to be drained with the fuel pump, or by removing the filler hose.
Drain the gas out of your old tank. Be sure you have a proper receptacle to catch the draining fuel. Some fuel tanks have a drain cock that will allow you to drain all of the gas neatly. If you have a drain cock, it will be located at the lowest point on the tank. Loosen the valve and allow the gas to completely drain. If your tank has no drain cock, you'll have to drain it by removing one of the fuel lines. The rubber hose that exits the tank at its lowest point will drain the tank fully. It will either be connected to an electric fuel pump, fuel filter, or to a hard fuel line that goes to the front of the car. Loosen the clamp on the end of the line that connects to the gas tank. Pull the hose off and allow the gas to run out of the tank into your container until it is drained completely. Pour the gas into a gas can and store it safely. You can pour it into your new tank!
