All 2000 Wranglers came with a D30 front axle. As for rear, it is going to be a D35 or a D44. Look at the differential and compare it to pictures of each. The D35 is more of a round shape. The D44 is slightly diamond shaped.
You can find them on craigslist I bet, though if it is under $2000, you probably will need to do some major repairs on the vehicle.
check under the hood on the radiator brackets or on the intake box
Eaisiest way to find out is get the VIN number off the jeep & call a Chrystler dealership & they can tell you by the VIN number.
it's in the gas tank. You have to drop the tank to access it.
Under the vin plate. fold the windshield forward.
A variety of axles can be found for sale by going into Google shopping section, here you will find a variety of axles being sold from stores such as Tweeks Cycles and RoseBikes.
Differential is attached to the transmission. You can find it by tracking where front wheel axles go in the transmission. The part is the differential.
A wrangler car is another term for the Jeep wrangler. I was unable to find a specific listing for wrangler car that did not include the Jeep wrangler.
If you've already checked all of the bulbs and the fuses (to include the maxi-fuses under the hood), it might be your multifunction switch. I had the same problem, and had to take my Jeep to a pro to diagnose it.
