DON'T press any buttons. Remove the cover(s) and the battery. Lay all components on a towel or absorbent paper. Place the phone and covers over a gentle heat source (such as a radiator or in an airing cupboard) in order to evaporate any water still in the phone. Leave it for 48 hours - re-assemble it, and it should be fine.
You can also place it in a bowl of uncooked rice to absorb additional moisture.
