There are several reasons why your car is experiencing this problem, I could be a bad mass airflow sensor, bad DME, clogged catalytic converter, bad fuel pressure regulator, or bad fuel pump. Each if these would take a bit of explanation.
I'd recommend that you buy a Bentley manual for this vehicle, and follow the diagnostics for each of these possibilities.
Just be gentle with it! The fuel should be ok. Start it up, resist the urge to rev. Let it idle for a min. Rev gently and slowley, do not exceed recommend rev's by the white lines around the rev counter. Drive, but let it fully warm through until you drive it like a BMW again!
air leak in the throttle or intake manifold gaskets or bad TPS sensor, disconnect TPS as a temporary fix
guys i have three error codes in ac rev
Rev limiter, its a good thing
First thing you can do to try to fix this problem is to change your transmission fluid and filter when i purchased my fiero it had similar pro just do that and you should be fine.
you take out the alernator and rewire it to your battery, this will make a horn noise when you rev the engine backwards
Yes but why would you? the rev limiter stops you from blowing it up...
It would be pronounced lah rev if it existed in french. But, rev is a masculine noun; le reve is pronounced luh rev.
The rev limiter is part of the engine computer programming. The computer would need reprogrammed to change the rev limiter.
