Start with the electric motor. Use a jumper wire on the positive wire of the motor and a hot wire. Does it work? If so, then you have to test the wiring harness back to the relay/fuse, the activation switch, and the battery. If the motor didn't work, then you need to replace the motor. If the motor works, but the top doesn't, then you need to check for broken cables or binding in the roof structure.

No, they're way different. The Convertible has more reinforcement than the Sedan does, because the roof (which stiffens the chassis in the Sedan) is not there. Also, Convertibles from 1970 on were based on the Super, not the Standard, sedan. Don't get me wrong: it will FIT. It just won't WORK.

Yes! We sprayed it on our roof, shed roof and well house roof. The moss is disappearing. It does take a few months to work though. It's not instantaneous, but it is non toxic. Rain helps the product work. Highly Recommended!

It would depend on the type of roof. Do you have a slate roof or a shingled roof? In the Pittsburgh area i would recommend Rick John Roofing. Not sure if they work on slate, but they do work on shingled roofs.

Anything is possible. It was never offered as a convertible, so it will be all custom work.
In the trunk of the car find the wires and unplug them. Take a wire known to be hot and touch the wire. One is for up and one is for down. If they work then the relay is bad. If it still doesn't work it is the motor itself.

As far as I know there is not any! It has 2 relays located in boot on l/h side behind the felt liner on wheel arch! The motor for electric roof will only work with the engine not running but ignition light on! You must have the oil pressure light lit up as it takes a feed from this senser! Check the wiring to the oil pressure switch first!
