That depends on the way you got hurt.
we forgive those who have hurt us we love our enemies and try not to get revenge but realy we are showing Gods love through us
And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
You should always try and forgive and be the bigger person:)
Our Lord Says that when He Taught the 'Our Father.' He Taught "And Forgive us our trespasses; as we forgive those who trespass against us..."
Sometimes it is very hard for us to forgive someone who has hurt us, in our own strength, and we have all suffered in this regard. This is where you must turn to God as you cannot do this alone. Give this hurt over toHim to heal, as only He can. Ask Him to put love inside your heart for this person who has hurt you. Then you choose to forgive this person, and make an honest endeavor. God will bless your heart and see you through.
Forgiving others is something you really do for yourself. Before you can ask God to forgive you, shouldn't you also forgive? Because we all fall short of the glory of God.
Answer It is always better to forgive the ones that hurt us but that doesn't mean you should stay in an abusive relationship. You can forgive someone who hurts you but you don't have to continue a relationship with that person. If someone hurts you over and over it is time to leave that relationship. The ones we love the most will, at times, hurt us even unintentionally. The reason for that is because we care, otherwise it wouldn't hurt us. In a situation where someone is hurting you over and over or being abusive, then get out. Get away from that person.
It's a little complex than that. Yes we all need to forgive people that hurt and betrayed us and some can't right away. They also say to forgive is what will set you free. In any case even we forgive the people that hurt us, it doesn't mean that we will forget. It's very hard to really forget no matter how long it takes it will stay with us. But for sure in time the pain will ease up little by little. So I do hope that you can because I got hurt as well by the man that I married. Good luck!!
Jesus said a lot about the golden rule. He taught us THE OUR FATHER “ forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.”
Forgive them.
No, the Bible does not say you can forgive those who are in hell.
