Select the row by clicking on the row number first (or the column by clicking on the column letter). Once selected any formatting you change will apply in every cell selected.
More than one row or column may be selected or any group of cells and the same will apply

Go to Format (at top of page) then click on Row or Column, and Height or Width is first option on the list.
Place the cursor in the row or column to be selected. Press the shift key and the spacebar to select a row. Press the Ctrl key and the spacebar to select a column. Using the mouse you can click on the row number or column letter to select the row or column.
In a table, a column is a vertical arrangement of data, a row is a horizontal arrangement, and a cell is formed at the intersection of a column and a row and holds a specific piece of data. Together, columns, rows, and cells organize and display information in a structured format.
Highlight the row or column you want to resize by clicking on the top or left column, then click on format either row or column, then click on either heighth or width. A task box will appear, just enter the highth or width you want. Another option is to autofit.

In the format section of the menu, select either column width or row height. You can adjust both to whatever you like.
