My husband has a felony and he was recently granted his license for both the state and the large city where we live. The process was not easy, and it is clear that unless you are diligent, a felon is not likely to get a license from any agency.
We had to deal with the denial (you have to be honest on the application - as the information is public record, and all agencies will check.). Then we proceed to appeal the decision of rejection. The appeal required a hearing from both the state, and then later for the city. In the meantime, we worked to get character references and to keep him working - without the license. Most of these references were from people who did not know about the felony, but were aware that we needed a referral for the license.
I'm proud of my husband for sticking to the drudgery of rejection, for something he did many years ago. It is so easy for a felon to go back to the life of crime, because of all of the rejections. All I can say, is to stick to it, live within your means, and hold unto the small blessings of help from friends and family. We are finally able to do all work legally, and each day, he honors those who helped him overcome this obstacle Hang in there and don't give up! There are many felons who desire to live legitimately. We need to do more to help those who really want to put their past behind, but cannot. The real sad part....there are many who never got caught, and they operate without a care in the world!
Use vision to keep you on the path of success! Stick to it, and you will succeed.
No,But to drive car you need a license where you got license when you are eligible for it like above 18 year old for license and 10th pass etc.
A Health Department food vendors license and probably a business license issued by the municipality to ensure they got the sales tax due them.
you can drive any car but you got to have your license
I have a suspended license from a DUI I got and I wanted to know if I can finance a vehicle still?
For a felony coupled to a violation of the vehicle code, like felony DUI or if an accident occurs with injury (or worse), a driver's license can be suspended or revoked. You can probably count on it. If one was to simply, say, beat down a police officer and get a felony battery, you're probably okay with keeping the license, but your other problems just got worse by at least a factor of ten. Check your local vehicle code for terms and conditions under which your driving PRIVILEGE can be suspended or revoked. And good luck.
The person who was driving.
Ask the dealers or got to the website. They might be able to help you out.
License??? That would be a good question to ask the folks where you got the Business License. In some states yes, in some no. Fence??? I would secure the cars somehow and a fence is quik and easy.
An older Saturn is what I have got all of my kids when they get there license. Slow and dependable. Good in a crash. Inexpensive. The perfect starter car.
You don't need to get insurance just because you got your license; it's not directly connected like that. If you have a valid license, and don't own a car, you could drive someone elses car that is insured by them. BUT you do need insurance to register a car and be legal. You would want insurance the day you buy and register a car.
Yes, if it has only been six months since the person got there license. No, If it has been over six months since they got there license.
