Use a really good tanning oil and reapply after getting wet, or use a low SPF sunscreen so you still get a tan without burning. if you do burn, apply lotion frequently to prevent peeling, like after showers or just when your skin seems dry. Don't forget aloe!
NEVER EVER use tanning oil. It messes up your skin completely! All you have to do is simply put sunscreen on. Go out to the (beach, pool, etc.) and lay on a (beach towel, chair, etc.) Hopefully that will give you a nice toasty tan.
