Not always. You have to remember - this site is not 'live' - it's a forum. With a live site - there are users on-line able to respond immediately to people's questions. On a forum - you have to post your question, and be patient enough to wait until someone reads that question before they post an answer.

It depends which users are actually on-line as to whether you get an immediate answer or not.

Which site do you get answers from?

I get my answers from WikiAnswers. I also use their companion site, Answers.

How do you use Islam Q and A on Stack Exchange specifically is there a full guide on how to use the site?

As of early 2013, the site is still in beta phase but it is functional for the questions and answers that exist. Some changes to questions and answers are peer reviewed rather than immediately posted. There is a FAQ page and a meta-center for questions about the workings of the site. There are about 1000 active users on the site.

Is immediately a preposition?

If the sentence is: I will go to the store immediately...then "immediately" is an adverb. It answers the "when" requirement. "Immediately" is never a preposition.

Is this site pro-catholic?

This site is neither pro- nor anti- anything. This site answers questions - questions posed by the general public and answered by the general public. The only rules are detailed in the Terms of Service... see the link immediately beneath this answer. If you feel that some answers are improper or incorrect please bring them to the attention of one of our voluntary supervisors.

What is this site about exactly?

WikiAnswers is a question and answer site. It is a site where you can ask questions and get answers. It is a "wiki", which means that the answers are given by people who visit the site.

Why is it wikianswers?

It is called WikiAnswers because it is a wiki-based site that is owned by Answers. A wiki site is a community driven site where nearly anyone can edit the content. In its perfect form, the wiki concept cuts bureaucracy and lets users' changes appear immediately. Answers once used a subscription model where people could pay to get staff to answer questions. But they moved to an ad-based community model that was free to use.

Where can you get answers?

On this site

Why are the answers on this site inconsistent?

The answers provided on the website are generated by individuals on the site. Although the site is monitored by supervisors and others, both good answers, bad answers, and nonsense answers can be entered. Over time, the nonsense and bad answers are weeded out by the supervisors and others. The inconsistency simply comes from the extremely high volume of questions and answers that arrive on the site everyday.
