Get your parent's permission. If you are over 16 they can grant it. In some cases it is lower, or may require a court order. You will need to have a parent or legal guardian sign documents for you. In a word, WAIT. Not trying to seem smart-a** or give you a pile of "when I was your age ..." garbage, but marriage is a lot more involved than almost anyone thinks, me included. I was engaged at 20 (presumably still older than you are), convinced I had found the woman I would spend the rest of my life with. The whole thing imploded big time when an ex-boyfriend appeared on the scene. Nearly all of my friends who married in the 18-20 age range are now divorced. One in particular is on now on her fourth or fifth husband (I guess she knows; I've lost track, ha ha!). Only one couple among my friends who married before 18 are still together. None of these people were without resources or education - most of us had supportive parents when we were teenagers, we now have advanced degrees and professional positions, but the marriages still failed. Whatever you decide, good luck.
If you are both 16 or older and have your parent's permission to get married, yes, you can get married. The rules vary a bit from state to state, but anyone under 18 must have parental permission. It is older in some states.
can a mother put a restraing order on her 19 years old daughters boyfriend?
As far as I know, underage marriage is legal so long as the parents of the underage bride/groom have given consent.
After you are married.
No. You'll be happy about that soon enough.
Los Vegas.
The age of consent in Alabama is sixteen. The age to be married with parental consent is fourteen years old.
Yes.
According to percentages, underage drinking has increased through the years.
I'm sorry to say that you cannot get married at 15 even if your boyfriend is 16. Your mother has to say that it is ok and his parents need to say that also.
Well my boyfriend and I have been together 2 years and we just got engaged but my aunt and uncle waited til they had been dating 5 years and there still going strong it depends on the couple some can only date for 2 years and get engaged and be married for many years which is how I hope my boyfriend and I will be but some ppl need more time to get to know each other
Sounds like he is not in a hurry to get married. If this doesn't match your expectations, you need to spend some time talking and exploring the issue. If he says that he does not want to get married in the time frame you have in mind, then you have a decision to make.
