I have the same thing. You cannot change the time or add more time without the admin's password. It is a mandatory, and without it, it will not let you do anything. Same for any other settings in Parental Controls.
There are World of Warcraft parental controls that can be used. Check the official site (linked below) to read about them. With parental controls you can modify not just time played per month/week/day, but also when they can play.

Yes, parental controls do work in World of Warcraft. They allow you to set certain times and length of time that your child is allowed to play. They also allow you to manage the voice chat controls, access to RealID. It also allows you to get reports on your child's play activity, such as when they logon and off and how long they were logged in for.

The System Preferences with Mac OS X has a Parental Controls section which can be used to limit access to certain software, websites, email and instant messaging contacts. It also provides time limits for when the user can access the computer and it keeps logs so activities can be monitored.
In fact, it does have parental controls. My son and I like to play games all the time, and when he approached me about Mafia II, I was a little hesitant. When we bought the game, I found out that it had parental controls. It took out all of the bad language and sexual content. You still shoot people, but it is not as graphic as it is without the settings on. You even have the option so that the cutscenes don't play. With the settings on, this game would easily be rated teen instead of the mature rating. I hope this helped!
Take this from a kid like me! I would say the best time to put it in would be during school, when they aren't home, but then again I wouldn't want MY parents putting in parental controls in MY PC. I understand that you want to know that they are safe, but I still wouldn't want anybody controlling what I can get on.
Take control of the game disc and only let it be used for a set time, then take control of the disc again.
