To get rid of the pop up ads in Yahoo mail, the best thing is disable the pop-up blockers for all sites or just a specific one. From Options - Accessories - choose pop-up blocker.
You don't. Just ignore it.
If you have a Pop-Up happen just hit ALT + F4, that should get rid of the Pop-Up
If You Have Internet Exploror 7 Or An Updated Version Of Fire Fox then turn pop up blocker on by right clicking on the icon on your desktop. then scroll down to properties and search for controls to turn pop up blocker on. NOTE:you can also turn it off at this location . that should get rid of unwanted advertisiments and pop ups.
Usually pop-up blockers built into browsers will block them and only allow pop-ups from sites that you specifically instruct the blocker to allow pop-ups from.

I am currently searching for a way to get rid of this anoyying pop up. But for now, there is no way of taking it off.
A popup is a window or advertisement that appears on your screen while browsing the internet. This tends to happen more in Internet Explorer. Popups can be rid of by installing a Popup Blocker.
If you are using Google Chrome, install the extension Adblock in the Chrome Web Store. Then, if it still pops up, click the Adblock button and "Block an Ad on this page". Then follow the instructions on the pop-up that appears.
