How can you get to the lost world in Donkey Kong Country 3?

there is a volcano mountain thing in the second section of the lake or whatever it is. take a boat and circle around it a bunch of times until it is unlocked Note: the boat must be the ski one and you have to go around the rocks anticlockwise.

I had the same problem for a while. Once you get the two skis (you get one after defeating the giant spider, and the other one after killing the fountain when you're the elephant) go to Funky's flights and he will make a snowmobile. Go out on main screen with the big map. To the upper right corner you will see two waterfalls. You must get through these waterfalls to get into the bay area where you can access k3. However, you must go really fast on the snowmobiles to get past the waterfalls (I think you do this by holding down the y button) Good luck!

This is easy, After you beat the Crystal Caves boss, take the key to K.Lumsy (as usual) he will open up a HUGE cannon, go inside it, it will shoot you up to the top of K.Rool's ship, go inside the portal and you are in creepy castle, (you need 80 bananas to get in)

World 9, The Golden Temple

In every level except for boss levels there are letters to collect that spell out K-O-N-G. Collect the KONGletters in every level in a World to unlock a bonus level. Beat the bonus level and you'll get a Rare Orb. There are 8 Rare Orbs to collect, one in the bonus level of each World. Once you have them all, the path to World 9 via The Golden Temple will be unlocked.

Your first need to get the DK Key from Fungi Forest. To do that you must defeat the boss by helping the pig and hippo help you open the door. The Fungi Forest Boss is the same boss from Angry Aztec however you must play as Chunky Kong so if you have not unlocked him yet in Frantic Factory you have to do so. The boss fight also requires Chunkies power-up Hunky Chunky and Primate Punch. The fight is relatively the same as Diddy's version however at some point you must transform to Hunky Chunky to battle the boss. After beating the boss go to K Lumsey and he will open up another part of DK Isles for you. The new area will be near Angry Aztec so warp there using the #2 pad. Follow the path past the boulders and you will see the entrance to the cave. In here is the Crystal Caves Lobby where you must get past B Locker to enter Crystal Caves.
