Philips Dvp520 does not support DivX format unfortunately. When you use Nero to burn movies, use the Movie function ( it will convert automatically into a format that your DVD player does support ). The only con is, you are only able to put 1 movie onto a DVD at a time ( divx would support up to 5 movies covering 700MB per movie).
Get Philips Slim Progressive Scan DVD Player with DivX.
Copy the downloaded movies to DVD by burning the DVD as data format. Once done, insert the DVD in the player, browse to file and play it.
yes it does.
yes u can, i have an xvid enabled player n i have used to play avi xvid files with it frm a disc containing other files
Mine does avi fine and that was bought 4 years ago. I think DivX and avi files are the same format.
No, there is not a DIVX player for PSp up to this date (June, 2008). But, there is converter. Try "PSP Video 9" to convert several video formats for PSP format. Then, just copy to a memory stick and play on your PSP.
There exist some DivX players that do. Most don't. Mp4 is a container format that is a form of mpg. If you already have your DivX player and it plays mpg files but not mp4, one trick to try is to rename the suffix (file type) of the file to .mpg. It works for some players and some encodings, but it's not guaranteed.
Any reputable DVD/VCR players should be able to play DivX movie format.
There are a few free movie player programs that can play AVI files. The most popular are those that can be found at the websites for DivX and Free AVI Player.
