It depends on why you want the flowers. Is it the flowers you really want, or the thought behind your husband giving you the flowers? If you just want the flowers, then just ask. If your looking for your husbands thoughtfulness, that is not so easy. If he hasn't learned this yet, chances are he will not on his own. Still, does he show his thoughtfulness in other ways? If he does, then what is the big deal in getting flowers? I don't mean to be insensitive, but I show my love towards my wife in many ways, but very seldom with flowers. This is mostly a socially learned desire among women that says, "without flowers there is no thoughtfulness." I just can't believe that for a second. OK women, you can all beat up on me now!
