What are affixes on Howrse?
An affix is basically a second name you can give your horse so it can always be tracked back to you. For example, You have your horses name, example, Lilly, then the affix. Lilly <---- Horse's name. Riverview Stables <---- Affix. You can give more than one horse the same Affix BUT it must have been bred by you.
How Do you Give An Affix on Howrse?
To give an affix on Howrse you need 2 karma points. Go to your horse's page and scroll to the bottom where there is an option to manage your affixes.

To create an affix you must first have 2 karma points. You must go to Breeding>My Horses>My Affixes>Create an affix. You can make an affix anything you want that is not already used and you can put it on any horse you have bred. To put the affix on the horse you go to the page of the horse and click on the rename button and click the dropdown box that says "select an affix" and pick the affix you want to use.

you can only put one of your affixes on a horse if you bred it. and anytime you want while it is still a colt, you can change your affix, and if you changed the affix on a horse you bred, then it will automatically change.

If you bought a horse, you cannot give it an affix. To make one after you get 2 karma you go to my horses and then go to the bottom and click on my affixes and then click create an affix
