Two wrongs don't make a right. chances are there is a reason your sister inlaw is being so mean. you should never sink to anothers level to get even. you give them two much power over you when you do. simply avoid her if you can and stay strong. when all else fails...punch her in the face!(Kidding)
Oh you have one of those. Ewww I have one too. I'm guessing I have been married a few more years than you albeit that doesn't mean it gets easier (atleast not for me). MY hubby and I have tried to move mountains to get his unmarried, hateful scheming sister to be more human like and not such an evil witch but not possible. So, after years and years of her nonsense and all under the guise of her proclaiming herself a good Catholic, we have decided that we have had enough and are writing her out of our lives. It's actually empowering to do this for us because she has made our lives hell and treated us and our daughter like complete garbage and I'm hypothesizing because she herself is miserable. So, she projects her shortcomings onto us and sees us as happy and she is not. We just can't allow her to hurt us any longer so we are done with her. It is just that simple. This is something we should have done many years ago after years and years of her disgusting behavior but we were tolerant of her because my elderly inlaws were so passive and enabled her bad behavior. She is in her 40s and never left home other than school and never paid a bill in her life. So, now that my inlaws are gone she has a Reality wake up call and has to grow up and is ANGRY that she has noone to wait on her and pay all her bills and say :"Oh it's okay if you treat us like a hotel, you can do all of this and we will continue to kiss you behind". Umm the party is over and she can't handle it. I say grow up, pay you own way in life and stop blaming your only brother for your failures and stop your obsession of making his homelife miserable because you have none. She has nothing but her hate and we don't want any part of it. She will most likely choke on it . Best of luck and hope your sister in law has some scruples and kindness. MIne was and is a nightmare and has stooped to all sorts of lows in order to cheat her only brother out of what is rightfully his. She has lied, cheated, manipulated and schemed to take all that was NOT hers. I am astounded at her disgusting ways and all under the guise of being a good catholic. notttt. She's a hypocrite.
