Child labor is more prevalent in poor countries in which families feel that they need the money that they can get by sending their children to work. Or, in politically unstable countries in which children are sometimes recruited as soldiers. In a more prosperous and peaceful world, the problem of child labor can be solved much more easily. And that in turn requires many things. Population control is vital - the world has only so much resources (real estate, food, etc.) and it cannot support an excessive human population at a good standard of living. Obviously, people will have to stop fighting about religion and political disputes and start cooperating to make a better world. And modern technology will have to be imported into less developed areas of the world. Those are the basic requirements. And after that it will still be a lot of work to solve social problems. And global warming could be another major problem that will have to be dealt with if the human race is going to make any real progress. So, it's a big job.
You can probably help stop child labor by trying to go to cournt an fighting to help the little kids that are forced to work instead of going to school an have a childhood.
