How can you help your dog not bite?

I am sorry this question is not very clear. If the dog is a puppy, teething plays a big part of biting. I usually give the dog something to chew on in that case. If he is nippy, I will hold his snout closed and say not bite. Sudden moves and running will increase prey drive and biting is part of that.

If the dog is older seek out professional advice.

Ideally a two year old dog has already learned not to bite, particularly a rescue dog that may be needed to help pull a person from an area.
