I would answer this question with another question. Are you looking to buy a house and don't want a kit home? There is a fair chance a fibro clad tin roofed home would be a kit but it's no certainty. Perhaps to avert some fears you should look on a kit supplier site and see how they are built. They are very well engineered and are fully certified and braced and all homes require council authority inspections to footings, frames, tiedowns, roofing, finish, Plumbing, electricals. If they are owner built kits, especially so. If you are still worried, as with all houses, look closely at the finish. They say the difference between a builder and a handyman is that the builder can cove his mistakes better. Look for uneven walls, floors, ceilings, extra use of bog, gapping sealant, look at skirting, architrave and cornice mitres, check tiling. Have a building inspector give you the tip.
