You will not know. Just replace it every 50,000 miles.
how do i know the fuel pump is going bad in a 1998 ford expedition eddie bauer?
When you are having mechanical problems with your 2003 CTS Cadillac, you will know that your fuel pump is going out.
Not likely unless that gallon of fuel had lots of water in it. Try starting it with starter fluid. If it starts and dies then you know it is a fuel problem. You then pump all the fuel out of the tank, add a a can of HEAT and then 10 gallons of fresh fuel. Replace the fuel filter and start it with starter fluid. You may have to start it several times to get the fresh fuel to the engine.
I know of nothing that can hold 300 gallons. A 2007 Toyota holds 18.50 gallons of gasoline.
well pop your hood. you're going to need a 12mm socket to unbolt the battery post so then you can remove your battery. that's all. just make sure you remove the + and the - post so you can take out the battery.
Go buy one and you will then know what it looks like. Follow the fuel line from the fuel tank to the engine and you will find it.
The car stops running.
I assume you are going to replace it or you would not have posted this question, so go to any auto parts store and buy one. You will then know what is looks like.
Hard starting and there is often a hum from the fuel tank prior to failure.
fuel filter is recommended to be changed every 15,000 miles
It is important to know the problematic symptoms of a car part. With a fuel pump, problem signs are trouble with accelerating, shuddering, and lurching while driving.
