The easiest way if to Recruit a Friend (or RAF). This way you will receive 3x experience therefore leveling up at a faster rate.

If you do not have recruit-a-friend, then the best way is still to quest, do dungeons, and grind it out. Also, if you happen to already have a high level character, and enough badges/stonekeepers shards, the investing in some BoA (Bind on Account) gear. If you get the chest and shoulders, this will give you 20% extra XP from killing mobs and completing quests. There is also a ring, for another 5%, but that is from the Kalu'ak fishing derby and is harder to get. Joining a guild can be helpful as well as generally guild mates will make gear and weapons, enchant, glyphs and other services for their guild members free or at a severely reduced cost.

If you are leveling with a friend, the Recruit a Friend option (RAF) allows you to level much quicker while together, and grant each other levels periodically.

The best advice is also to always log out at an Inn. This way you get a higher Rested percentage, and monsters slain while you are rested grant more XP.

The most common way to power level in World of Warcraft is usually to pay off a higher level player with gold. They will quickly take you through quest areas and let you pick up most of the treasure (so long as they can't use it), they fight everything off so you take minimal damage and get all the experience points.

This saves time on having to hunt or spend alot of time on quests. Although this is quick it kind of defeats the purpose of the game. It also costs alot of gold which can only be gotten early on in the game by transfering it from another character that was started before and has alot of extra gold around.

Quests are one way to level. Professions are another way (Herbalism, Archaeology, Mining, and Skinning all give experience when you gather from a node of appropriate difficulty). At level 10 you unlock Player vs Player combat through battlegrounds. Depending on your server you may also have world PvP (if it's a PvP server or a Normal server). At level 15 you unlock random dungeons. It is possible to do some dungeons prior to this but you would need a group to complete the content (the monsters are much more difficult than the monsters you find in the world of the same level).

Horde- Go to the Orc and Troll start town even if you are Un-dead or Blood elf Undead, just go to The Zephlins and go to Orgrimmar and run down Blood elfs, go to the Blood Elf main city and use the Orb Of Translocaton and your in the undead place, exit the place and go to the Zephlins and go to Orgrimmar and run down Moo-moos run out of your place, YOU have a long way to go. Do quests there and around level 4,5 or 6 go to Sen'jin Village Do quests and at lever 9-12 Go to the level 10 Troll on the island for the quest, if more than 5 get on you run in the water and wait for them to go back, go on land slightly to eat food and mana drinks if needed. Pull 2 at a time. After you kill the lv. 10 troll get the skull thinger-magig. and turn in the two quests, go to the next city (it has an Inn. Yay!) Make that your home town and just do the quests, there go to barrens done there then go to stonetalon, (first contested zone) then when you finished there say hello to Desolace do there go to next place. You can gain levels quickly by doing quests while waiting for dungeon slots to open up. You can also get BoA gear to help you level a little more quickly. But as far as instant max level characters, sorry, World of Warcraft does not have cheat codes like that.
