That person will be gun-shy for a while. SO you have to prove to them youre not gonna hurt them. Love them 10x more. When you get your heart broken you are vulnerable in relationships because someone comes along and shows you the love you didnt get in the previous relationship. So... many heartbroken people put their guards up. You just have to knock it down little bits at a time. Be yourself, once they see you are consistent in your ways, they will begin to trust you. Dont come on too strong, just be yourself.

∙ 12y agoWell, if you love someone then you love someone.. There's no going back. I've been heart broken twice because of one boy. I still love him. We went out for a bit the first time and he broke up with me because of bullying and later on I got a new boyfriend who was one of my ex's close mates, Later on I found out Adam(my ex) still liked me because he was always telling me and called me beautiful and so on WHILE I still went out with his bezzie so I was about to break up with his bff but then Adam decided he didn't want me and went out with another girl... Eventually they broke up and I still liked him and he did back! I broke up with his bff because I wanted to go out with Adam so we did go out for a bit but a few days ago he broke my heart again(A few days ago) because of 'Family Problems' so apparently he didn't have time to go out with me which I don't believe but I would take himback... I'm sorry for the life story there but you see my point? Just give time time and all will be fine. Just listen to what your heart says, Hope you'll be ok.
