How can you make your parents happy after watching something you weren't supposed to be watching?

They are probably more upset with you that you broke their trust than the part where you disobeyed. They usually don't want you watching something because they feel it is bad for you at your stage of life, and they trusted you not to do it. When you went behind their backs and did it anyway, knowing that they wouldn't want you to, it was kind of a betrayal. Now they are probably wondering what else you will do when they aren't around. It will likely weigh on their minds when making decisions for a while. "Can I trust him to do what he should if I let him go to the mall without me? I couldn't for this other thing." Betraying your parents trust does a lot of damage that you may never realize. It will also likely cut back on what you are allowed to do without you ever even knowing why.
The best thing you can do is make an attempt at reestablishing that trust. Make good decisions and keep a level head. Go sit down and talk to them. Tell them that you know you did damage, and that you have learned from it (then actually learn from it). The fact that you are willing to admit that you screwed up, are willing to have an adult conversation with them, and then understand why they are upset will go a long way in making things right again.
