Almost everyone has a period and there are certain types of Birth Control that can lengthen the time between each of your periods, but there is one birth control that can completely eliminate your period. Its called the Depo-Provera shot. My friend, her mom and I all get the shot and we all stopped having a period. The nurse told us it was one of the possible side affects which was the only reason I got on it. You get the shot every 3 months and you don't have to worry about taking a pill everyday which is great. I've been on this birth control for about 2 months and I haven't had one since I got the shot. Sometimes birth control doesn't go over so well with parents but you can go to your local Planned Parenthood and get the shot by donation for very little cost, you may go by yourself once you are 16. This way it is discreet and if your not ready to tell your parents you want to get on it, you don't have to.

Hope this helped :)
