It sounds as though the blend door in the heater ducting is stuck open. In a vehicle as new as the Dodge Magnum, this can be fixed by calling the nearest auto parts store for a replacement blend door actuator and replacing it by following the instructions in the package. If no instructions come with the part, you may need to invest in a repair manual which can also been obtained at the part store.
The easiest thing to do would be to bring it to a local mechanic. They will be able to figure out why the door will not open and fix it without further damaging it or the car.
