Asking politely never did anyone any harm.
I think facebook and myspace should let kids 13 and under have myspace and facebook. I also think parents should too
just be sneaky (:
I made a myspace but I deleted it as soon as I got it! I would just ask your parents or someone you trust.
No Facebook will not tell your parents about your account, but they are able to search for it even if they don't have a facebook unless you change your privacy settings. Be careful though because if you are friends with someone who may know your parents they may tell them and then you will get caught.

To get a Facebook you are required to be 13 but there are no requierments to get an email except that of your parents

Just let them know that you secretly like facebook.... and you would love to have a facebook account!
Tell your parents, her parents, let them solve that case to tell the ex-friend to delete the MySpace account. Every thing will work out if you just tell your parenta and have them deal with it. Trust me, you can rely on your parents in situations like this. It has worked before with me and my parents.
Make a facebook account and don't tell them that you have one. Don't add them as a friend either and if your parents have a facebook, don't send anybody who knows them really good a friend request.
They are scared of the fictional "predators" and "hackers" In addition, there are laws about allowing underage individuals to post personal information.
