*Four consoles are compatible with these games and they are: Nintendo 64, Gameboy Advance, Gamecube, and DS. With the Gamecube's Gameboy Player accessory (sold seperately) you can play your Gameboy, Gameboy Color, and Gameboy Advance games using your Gamecube. The Gameboy Advance (Gameboy Advance SP also works) is compatible with all Gameboy, Gameboy Color, and Gameboy Advance games. The older models of the Nintendo DS have a GBA (stands for Gameboy Advance) slot built in…
well if your talkin about grom generation 2 (gold and silver) to generation 1 (blue and red) then yes it is possible. but it is not possible between a gameboy advance game and a colour game as far as i know. gameboy advance can be used to trade with using a gold to a colour console but just not the advance games to colour games if that makes sense

What game link cable would I have to use to link my Pokemon Red and Blue Version Game Boy Color games if I played one of them on a Game Boy advance and the other on a Game Boy advance sp?
The games are not compatible, so trading between the two is impossible. ANSWER I've traded with yellow, so it should work. But, you must use the time trade machine without any Pokemon that are not known on Pokemon red (ex, you cant bring an espeon with you but you can bring an eevee) ANSWER Again, the answer is no. Since red/blue were gameboy color/original gameboy games they are incompatible with Gameboy Advance and DS systems…

Hmm it depends what you mean by free, if you mean by free like some sort of arcade or something...i don't think you ever can but i know a way to play it for free...basically get a gba emulator...which is called a vba (visual boy advance) i think the latest version can play gameboy colour and gameboy games as well... then simply download the Pokemon Blue ROM...look around on Google and voila you have free…
I don't think that they are going to remake Pokemon yellow because the have already made remakes of Red and Blue in the gameboy advance SP gaming system. They also included the gyms from Red and Blue in the two new Pokemon games; Heart Gold and Soul Silver. There are 2 new Pokemon games coming out in spring 2010. They are Pokemon Black and White
You will likely need a new cartridge. If you have an older version (Gameboy/ Gameboy Color/ Gameboy Advance) you can try replacing the battery. You will need a special screwdriver to open the cartridge, and good soldering skills to do it, though. Also, make sure the contacts are free from corrosion and dirt. Last I knew there was some really good cleaning stuff at www.stoneagegamer.com DO NOT just blow in it. If this is a…
You need to put the Gameboy game in the DS, turn on Diamond/Pearl and on the main menu it should say migrate from whatever Gameboy Pokemon it is. The simple answer is you cannot migrate Pokemon to Diamond or Pearl from any Gameboy Color game. The cartridge does not fit into the DS, for one and the games cannot link to the DS via link cable; thus making migrating impossible from Red, Blue, Green, Yellow…
it depends on what game you are using. for example, if you are playing Pokemon diamond/pearl/platinum,youwant an action replay. but, if you are play Pokemon yellow/blue/red/silver/gold/crysta/Sapphire/emerald or ruby, you want a game shark. and if you aren't a fan of Pokemon, pretty much its like this, if you are playing a Nintendo ds game, you want an action replay. but if you are play a gameboy or gameboy advance games, you want a gameshark.
In America, they are Red and Blue, Yellow, Gold and Silver, Crystal, Sapphire and Ruby, FireRed and LeafGreen, Emerald, Diamond and Pearl, Platinum. Coming soon are HeartGold and SoulSilver. Numbers 1-6 are for GameBoy color, 7-11 are for GameBoy Advanced and GameBoy Advanced SP, and 12-16 are for Nintendo DS, Nintendo DS lite, and Nintendo DSi.
