Accordions are members of the wind instrument family and consist of three major components such as the treble mechanism, bass mechanism and bellows. The right hand side consists of keys or buttons while the bass section varies depending on whether its a button or piano accordion. Piano accordions have a Stradella bass mechanism for the right hand side and this is standard for all piano accordions. Button accordions, such as chromatic accordions have a free bass mechanism, and are widely played in French musette. Diatonic accordions can have an eight or twelve bass layout and play different notes depending on the bellows direction. The piano accordion was invented when Bouton of Paris first applied piano keys to the accordion.
Yes. Accordion music is like piano music because it uses both the treble and the bass clef. Usually, you play the notes in the treble clef with the right hand and the notes in the bass clef with the left hand.
There are 120 bass buttons on an accordion.
The melody of a song is a specific part of the song. Often in a song with many instruments the melody is the leading string of notes that one would pick out and hum or whistle. The same song may also have a bass line that the bass instruments would play. Together these parts together could be described as the tune although sometimes it is used as a synonym for melody. Tune is a less technical term than melody.
piano drums bass and gutiar
The right side of a piano accordion, where you play the melody, is similar to a piano, except there are fewer keys and thus a shorter range. On the left side, where you play the bass and chords (accompaniment, the notes are arranged in fifths, and the system is very different from the piano keyboard. On a button accordion the right (melody) side is not similar to a piano keyboard. A piano player will quite easily be able to play the right (melody) side of a piano accordion, but the left side will require additional practice. A button accordion is a completely different system, and the piano player will have no advantage with regards to technique.
The keys on every piano accordion are on the right-hand side while the Stradella bass mechanism is on the left.

The lightest piano accordions available are the beginner accordions and are very useful when learning to play the piano accordion at the beginning. The Stradella bass system consists of 12 buttons providing an easy accompaniment for the treble section. I honestly don't think that there is a piano accordion that weighs as light as six pounds but beginner accordions would be the best accordions to buy especially if you are a beginner.
well don`t know the melody but i do know the insrtuments they are : piano keyboad drums bass
Each member plays multiple instruments. Regine Chassagne plays piano, organ, drums, accordion, and hurdy gurdy. Win Butler plays guitar, bass guitar, and piano. Richard Reed Parry plays guitar, piano, accordion, and drums. Tim Kingsbury plays guitar, bass guitar, and piano. Will Butler plays piano, guitar, bass guitar, synth, and percussions. Jeremy Gara plays drums, guitar, and piano. And Sarah Neufeld plays violin, viola, and piano. They're all very talented people :)
The main components to every piano accordion are the treble keyboard, bellows and bass keyboard. The treble keyboard is similar to a piano or organ and the keys are arranged at right angles to the musical instrument with the tops of the keys pointing inwards towards the bellows. The bellows is located between the treble and bass ends and its main function is to drive air through the tone chamber to excite the reeds producing sound. The left hand side consists of a Stradella bass mechanism which is standard for all piano accordions.
Yes, mine does. I play a 48 bass piano accordion. The accordion is a very loud, up beat, friendly, perkey, and fun instrument. It is also very fun to play and makes you perkey when your feeling sad
