To prevent computer attacks, you should have a good virus protection service. Second, you should never open emails from a person you don't know. There can be loads of viruses in there. Third, make sure nobody knows your IP address. If someone has access to your computer, that's dangerous. And finally, you should have your computer set to the mode that warns you that a website is dangerous. If the website that you're on says secure browsing/server is on, then you're good and you don't have to worry about computer attacks from there.
I recommend downloading anti-virus software. AVG Free Version is a great programme.
