My Min Pin, Chi, is recovering from a bout of acute pancreatitis. My vet, who is wonderful, suggested I switch her from the high fat/protein Blue Buffalo Wilderness she was eating to a low fat/protein sensitive stomach formula, specifically, Science Diet. I am not a fan of SD (having worked for a vet for years myself). I've done a lot of research there are a two commercial foods that seem to work well for many: Natural Balance Reduced Calorie andWellness Core Reduced Fat. However, overwhelmingly a raw diet that is low in fat seems to be the best option. Primal makes a great line of premade raw foods. Good luck!
Lam Pin Min was born in 1969.

A Min-Pin can start their first heat cycle as early as 4 months old. The Min-Pin stays in heat on average for 2 to 4 weeks and the heat cycle occurs twice a year.

Min Pins are very curious dogs, which comes from their breeding as ratters - they love to hunt and explore. The answer is you can NEVER trust a min pin and need to ensure they are always in a secure area.
