You can refine ores into "bars" witch can be used with a hammer on an anvil to make various weapons and armor. You can do this at any "Furnace" (all of witch are marked on the Runescape map) providing you have the correct ores and Smithing level.
To make bars you will need have the following items in your inventory:
* Bronze (1 copper & 1 tin)
* Iron (1 Iron ore WARNING: success rate to refine is 50%, can be increased to 100% with Ring of Forging [Members object])
* Steel (1 Iron & 2 Coal)
*Mithril (1 Mithril & 4 Coal)
* Addy (1 Addy & 6 Coal)
* Rune (1 Rune & 8 Coal)
