It is possible, but there are so many parts that would have to be fabricated that is it likely more trouble than it is worth. The engine mounts, transmission mounts, drive shaft, shifter linkage and throttle linkage, would all be incompatible
Yes.
It depends on how you plan to use the car.
How many quarts in a a 75 Cadillac eldorado transmission
Unless you have absolutely nothing better to do, this is absurd. The Pontiac engine will not hook up to the Chevy transmission. Then the complete exhaust system will have to be custom made. There is hardly anything that will work....... No The Pontiac is carburated, and wont bolt to the transmission, mounts or wiring
That's not a question. It's not even a sentence. You fail.
if it is a v8 it should be on the driver side cyl head near front of engine
in 1975 Chevy made more than one v8, of different cid.( cubic inch displacement) first find out the cid. and then get the engine no. which is located on a machined pad in front of the left head. ( left ,standing in front looking at the engine). you have to look up the eng. no. to get it right. your Chevy dealer may look it up for you if they are in a good mood.
Yes, the mounting position is the same, but the actual mounts are different. Bolt the mounts from your 1975 corvette to your 1996 LT1 engine and it should go right in. The transmission should also bolt right up to your 1996 LT1 engine.
