First, you will need to download iTunes if you don't already have it. You can download it from the Apple website. (See the related link)
Then, insert your CD to your computer/laptop and open iTunes. The CD will appear on the left hand side menu as a new "tab". You will then either be prompted with a question asking if you want to import the CD (where you should click "yes") or you will have to do it manually. To do it manually, click on the CD tab on the menu and click "import CD" on the bottom right.
Once the CD has been imported to iTunes, plug your iPod in to your computer using the USB cable. Your iPod will appear on the left menu on iTunes. You can then drag songs from your iTunes library onto the iPod tab on the left menu.
