The Indian currency notes have a picture of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi ,a bald guy wearing spectacles,on one side and have "Reserve Bank Of India" printed on it.Indian currency notes always show the signature of the Bank governor.

On the other hand Indian currency coins have the name INDIA written on it, along with the year on which the coin was minted.
