here is no way to actually remove it other than light sanding then finish off with a clear coat hard paint. Krylon spray is best.

You probably can't remove an acid stain. Acid eats away at matter and in most cases it can't be repair. In the future when you have an acid spill, you want to dilute the acid before it gets a chance to cause damage.
Calamansi is a citrous fruit and rust stain can be removed by citric acid. Just put calamansi on affected area and let it stay for 40 minutes then gently brush it to remove the stain.
