you cut the old hose off. size up new regular heater hose to match same length.push new hose as far as you can on the right side then bend the hose to push over the left side. make sure you put the hose clamps on before you start to put the new hose on.make sure both sides are about equal then tighten the clamps down. good luck!

Do not try to pop the top off of this box as i did, instead remove the two screws holding it to the body of the vehicle. The box containing the air filter is located beneath the box you just removed. There are two clips holding the cover on the box, undo these and you will see the filter sitting vertically in the box, replace it, put the cover clips back in place and replace the plastic box that was removed first.
